Unit 22 34. Sound effects

Sound 1:Explosion
The first sound effect that has been researched and found is an explosion sound effect. However, with this sound effect comes the issue that as we are simply filming for a school project, we most likely do not have either the budget, nor the skills to successfully use an explosion within our work.

Sound 2: High pitched ringing effect
This sound effect, from all the found effects is the most likely that we will actually use in our opening. The reason for this is because when Joshua hits his head, he will be near to unconscious and also disoriented, and by playing this high pitched ringing noise, it gives off the effect that Joshua is actually disoriented and has received a serious injury.

Sound 3: Game sound effect
This sound effect is unlikely to actually be used within our thriller opening as it gives off a possibly comedic effect due to the correlation people have with it and the actual game itself, and as we are filming a thriller opening, it is unlikely we will be using comedic effect, unless we use the sub-genre of thriller-comedy.

Sound 4: Dialogue sound effect
This effect is simply an example of some of the dialogue we will be using within the opening, as there will be no need to use a sound over effect of a voice within the opening, as we can re-create this effect by using our own voices, which has more of a realistic effect to it for the viewer as well.

 Sound 5: Footsteps effect
This sound effect itself we may not use, however, other footstep sound effect may be possible for us to use because of the psychological effect of thriller we are trying to give off-trying to get people to feel the 'fear' almost that the protagonist (Joshua) feels when he hears these footsteps despite them not actually being the footsteps of an actual person-is in his head.
